Informal collectors make a lot of individuals to involved in such collection system by buying and selling the e-waste. The estimated 20 million migrant workers are currently engaged in the informal collection and recycling of solid waste (Chung). It is very effective way to collect the e-waste. In China, it is easy to find the e-waste collectors and collections center, it almost everywhere but it is not efficient because of they only collect electronic appliance with re-use or recycling value and the way of processing with e-waste is unskilled and cause not only the workers’ problems but also environmental damage (unskilled treatment picture will be attached). According to research, Guiyu has the highest level of cancer-causing dioxins in the world and an elevated rate of miscarriages (Chung) as well as lots of toxic emission towards environment.
